David Liu, our Realtor Associate who recently completed our family’s house sale. It is with great pride and confidence that my wife and I illustrate David’s exceptional professional approach with a detailed sense of ALOHA. As history would have it, our family embarked on this journey with David as our “go-to-person” where complex issues and personal obstacles arose and yet at every turn David was responsive, patient and very supportive. The sudden passing of my wife’s brother as co-owner of the home beset us barely a month into the transaction resulting in legal and funeral issues needing our attention thus delaying operations. Then going into the third month, my wife’s father also passed and again the situation stymied our efforts to expedite the home sale. As our family found tracking and could thus focus on final preparations to display the home for potential buyers, David’s sense of compassion and commitment came to full view on two specific occasions: (1) The home needed fumigation and David hustled for a pest control company to fit-us-in ASAP; but, on such short notice the hedges/brush around the home needed to be cut-back. True to form, David went out of his way the very next day and joined me for 2-3 hours in getting this important task done in time. (2) A couple weeks later prior to the final walk-thru, the eventual buyer wanted the “old” refrigerator in the home disengaged and disposed of; however, it was a weekday and I could not get off work until 5:00p to get this job done. To my surprise, David secured a truck from a friend and managed to load and transport the appliance to the dump all by himself! Yes indeed, the prolonged six-month journey toward our home’s final sale was a business partnership with twists and turns, peaks-and-valleys; but, through it all, our Realtor and friend in David Liu provided guidance, support and empathy that is so difficult to find in these days and times. His devotion to his profession were showered upon us as he lighted the way when the darkened skies approached.
